Utilizing netTrekker Village is new to me and I was clicking around to view other teacher comments or literacy coaches comments. I was thinking it would be nice to access any free professional development sessions, clips, workshops, or archived training.

Now that my computer has finally stopped treating Java like a disease, I've checked out some of the tip Tuesday webinars. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they're pretty cool! They seem very helpful for new netTrekker users :)

Hi Kirsty! one of the biggest challenges we face at our middle school is motivating the students and the teachers to use the digital tools effectively. Often times, students will settle for the first link off a google search. Teachers may be so overwhelmed with new initiatives, that adding another layer of complexity to their toolkit would be the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.

Hi Kirsty, Leslie Peterson suggested I join so that I might be informed about any webinars or other training events in Arkansas. We are actually still working on getting all of the teacher IDs in for our state uploaded so that all of them are in netTrekker...we also purchased add-on products Brainpop and Weekly Reader and I'm not sure how those will all interface with our Achievement Series, but I'm sure I'll understand it all eventually :) Thanks Kirsty.
