At 8:42am on August 8, 2009, Larry Wilson said…: I was given your name by Barbara Hunter-Cox at Crowleys Ridge and Rusty Clark. I teach at Hot Springs High School, but I also am a workshop presenter. I do mainly technology workshops demonstrating how to use the new technology to create innovative and interesting lessons for the classroom.
They both suggested I contact you about the possibility of presenting workshops for the Jonesboro Schools. I am also an Elvis impersonator and I incorporate that into the workshop through the persona, Elvis the Teacher.
I am on the Arkansas Council for the Social Studies board, a member of ARKSTE and ISTE, a PBS Teacherline facilitator, and patron to two chihuahuas.

I have been an employee at JPS for 41 years--first as an Eng. teacher, then librarian, then administer. I've worked as Dir. of Technology and still maintain an active role in technology training and application software. I enjoy reading, walking, and traveling and look forward to retirement in 2-3 years.
