The program will serve me by allowing the opportunity to unify the delivery system of training tutorials and reference materials that I have made and will make available to the teacher I come in contact with.
Learned about using Nettrekker to sift through Web junk to find more useful resources for teaching. I hate being sold things when I'm trying to find resources for my students to use. Nettrekker helps me avoid that. Though I'm new to the application, I envision it helping me plan lessons more efficiently. For struggling readers the dictionary and reader functions are particularly great. Image search is excellent as well. I'm glad I can learn something I can began to use in my teaching right away.
I learned so much, it's hard to put into words. I particulary enjoy having a website that is educational, and narrows the field of interest. I thought it was especially important for our trainer to be able to work with us knowing we had different abilities. I can't wait to use this with my students.
I learned about an excellent seach engine for school related research. I really liked the filtering features such as high school. The dictionary feature was awesome.
I think my favorite feature was the timelines. One of the issues I find with literature is that students often don't make the connections between historical setting and what is happening in the novel. It's awesome to have such a user friendly way to show what was happening in the world in a given time period.
I found that there was so much good information. I wish we could have further training in smaller groups for those who are a little bit slower. My favorite feature was the time line with the different layers.
